With just four months to go before the 2022 Presidential elections, a group by name League Of True Nigeria Friends For Peter Obi has tasked all supporters of Peter Obi’s presidential bid to earnestly pick up and secure their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs).
While congratulating the Youths of Nigeria and indeed all supporters of Obi/Datti ticket in the forth coming Presidential elections for successful and accidents free marches across the federation, the convener of the League Of True Nigeria Friends For Peter Obi Chief. Cosmas Aligwekwe, enjoined all the supporters of Obi/Datti ticket to ensure that they have their voters cards handy before the end of the year. He therefore admonished them not to wait for the rush hours to pick their PVCs. According to him, some videos have been making the rounds where INEC officials were inviting registered voters to come and pick up their voters cards before time and avoid rush hour period. He wondered why people made all the effort to register only to now find it difficult or are reluctant to go and pick their cards which will make them eligible to vote.
Chief Aligwekwe reemphasised that it is very important all well meaning supporters of the Obidient movement pick up their voters cards and report any challenges they encounter doing so.
Earlier on, while addressing State Co-ordinators of League Of True Nigeria Friends For Peter Obi at their retreat in Abuja, Chief Aligwekwe had encouraged them to be steadfast and self motivated in the task ahead, noting that the project though enormous is surmmountable and is in the interest of the nation and future of all Nigerians especially the Youths.
He advised all well meaning Nigerians that the take back our country project is a task for everyone, a task for all lovers of freedom and all should be committed to it!
