AMIDST THE UNCERTAINTY OF THE SUPREME COURT’S ORDER, BUHARI’S DISCRETIONARY POWERS GIVES LIFE TO CBN’S CASHLESS POWER/Vincent Okoroafor

Legally speaking, the Political Question Doctrine should have been invoked by the Supreme Court in the first place to enable it hands off from a case that requires a political solution to resolve same.

By the doctrine of separation of powers the Executive cannot attempt to interfere with the internal workings or policies of the legislature and so also the Judicial organ of government dares not interfere with the workings or discretionary powers of the Executive branch of government. Buhari has done no wrong by consigning the old #500 & #1000 notes to the trashbin of historical oblivion.
