APGA believes in Unity and will work with Tinubu to achieve that/Soludo

Anambra State governor and national leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Prof Chukwuma Soludo has promised that the party will partner the president Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s All Progressives Congress-controlled federal government.

He stated this at the national convention of the party held in Awka, the state capital Wednesday.

Soludo commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), in the manner it conducted the 2023 general election stating that the exercise was largely peace, transparent and the outcome credible.

He particularly described the conduct of the polls in Anambra as peaceful and the outcome credible.
He said APGA will partner with the “government at the centre to pursue the unity of the country emphasising that “Nigeria will be stronger as a united country,” adding that APGA believes in a united Nigeria.


He said now that the election is over, the task ahead is to ensure that justice and equity is done to every component of the nation.

He commended the immediate past Chief Victor Oye-led national working committee of the party for making the APGA stronger and assured that his administration would make sure that the party will continue to grow stronger.

Soludo said: “We believe in one united Nigeria where justice and equity are administered to all segments of the country. Nigeria is stronger together.

“APGA will partner with government at the centre to help move Nigeria forward because election is over.

“In Anambra State, the last election was free, fair and credible.”

The new national chairman of APGA, Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, also emphasised that the party believes strongly in a united Nigeria, but, emphasised restructuring of the country as necessary to promote peace, justice and fairness among the various segments.

He stated that his leadership will make APGA stronger and masses oriented.

Earlier, the immediate past national chairman of APGA, Oye stated that his leadership experienced hard challenges, noting that it had over 200 litigations, but, expressed satisfaction that it successful waded the storm and led the party to record so many electoral victories at both national and state levels.
