10 farmers killed in Latest ISWAP attack in Borno By; Zagazola Makama A total of 8 farmers were killed by The Islamic State of the West African Province(ISWAP) insurgents in the Mafa Local Government Area of Borno. The farmers were eliminated while cultivating their crops in Shuwarin, Tomsu Ngamdu, Baram Karauwa and Muna on Thursday, June 22, 2023. Ten more people were abducted by the insurgents while a 16 year old boy was released to convey the message. Zagazola Makama, A Counter Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake Chad, report that the bodies of the victims were recovered on Friday by the Civilian Joint Task Force and members of the Communities. Zagazola understood that Governor Babagana Zulum Visited the scene and assured the people of adequate security deployment to secure farmlands.
