FINAL WRITTEN ADDRESS OF TINUBU AND SHETTIMAH TO LP AND OBI REGARDING ISSUE 3, WHICH IS 25% IN FCT

Tinubu and Shettimah started by beating about the bush. They argued that none of Nigeria’s 36 states is superior to the other – a diversionary tactic. They also talked about electoral college votes in US. Another spurious argument.
They cited section 299 of the constitution so as to draw justification that FCT is a state or should be accepted as Nigeria’s 37th state.
They also cited the case of George Bush versus Al Gore. They also tried to twist the narrative of the case btw Obasanjo Vs Buhari (2003).
Kindly note that in that case, Buhari wanted a runoff because one of the result of one of the 36 states was voided due to rigging (Obasanjo got 99% in Ogun State). . . .
Buhari argued that 25% in 2/3 of 35 states and FCT is unconstitutional.
In order wards, it ought to be 2/3 of (36 states) and FCT.
This issue was resolved that 25% in a minimum of 24 States & FCT is the requirement needed to be declared as president (aside having majority votes).
Wole Olanipekun is trying to be clever by half.
What Buhari wanted in 2003 is different from What LP want from the last election.
— Buhari wanted a runoff because 1 of the 36 States was cancelled due to rigging
— LP want an interpretation of 25% in the FCT, wether it is …
mandatory or not.
Instead of sticking with the argument, Tinubu & Shettimah’s team of Lawyers are busy using diversionary tactics among others.
Nobody is arguing that one State is superior to the other or for the election in any part of Nigeria’s 36 States be voided.
Uncle Wole Olanipekun, SAN should stay on the right argument and stop beating around the bush.
Bobo Chicago did not get the constitutional 25% in FCT AND 24 States of the Federation.
That AND cannot be erased; it is mandatory!
