The Danish opposition is unhappy with the government’s efforts to ban the burning of the Quran Seven opposition parties in Denmark protested on Thursday against the government’s pledge to seek ways to limit the burning of the Quran. In their opinion, this will open the door for foreign interference in Danish politics and will be contrary to civil liberties. In response to the protest, Justice Minister Peter Hummelgaard said the government would continue to seek restrictions.
