Subject: Formation of ESN by IPOB. Dear Bola Tinubu

@officialABAT, I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the
@NigeriaGov discomfort surrounding the formation of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). It is my firm belief that the establishment of ESN was borne out of necessity due to the lack of protection against Fulani terrorist herdsmen. I feel compelled to bring to your attention the growing sense of insecurity and fear that has plagued our communities.
The continuous attacks and atrocities committed by Fulani terrorist herdsmen have left many innocent lives lost, properties destroyed, and families displaced. It is disheartening to note that our calls for protection against these acts of violence have been met with rejection and indifference. In the face of such adversity, it is understandable that some individuals and communities have felt compelled to resort to self-help measures for self-preservation. The formation of ESN by IPOB can be seen as a direct consequence of the failure of the government to address the security concerns of its citizens effectively. It is crucial to recognize that the primary responsibility of any government is to ensure the safety and well-being of its people. While I acknowledge the government’s efforts in combating insecurity across the nation, it is evident that more needs to be done to address the specific concerns of communities affected by Fulani terrorist herdsmen. The lack of a comprehensive and proactive approach to tackling this issue has only exacerbated the situation, leading to the emergence of self-defence groups like #ESN, #Amotekun etc. I implore the government to take immediate action to address the root causes of this insecurity and to provide adequate protection to all, regardless of their ethnic or regional affiliations. It is essential to foster an environment where everyone feels safe and secure within their communities.
Furthermore, I urge the government to engage in meaningful dialogue with IPOB and other relevant stakeholders to find a peaceful and lasting solution to the security challenges faced by ethnic groups in the British contraption called Nigeria. IPOB/ESN deserves commendation for our proactive approach to safeguarding our communities, where the government has fallen short in fulfilling its primary responsibilities. I trust that you will give due consideration to the concerns raised in this letter and take appropriate action to address the pressing security issues faced by #Biafrans. It is my sincere hope that through collaborative efforts, we can protect humanity where everyone can live without fear and where justice and equality prevail. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Yours sincerely, IPOB Liverpool Central 21/08/2023.
