A delegation from the Defense Ministry, led by Colonel-General Yevkurov, has arrived in Mali as part of their official visit. Prior to this, Yevkurov had undertaken visits to Libya, Syria, the Central African Republic, and Burkina Faso. It’s worth noting that all these countries hold significance in the international activities of the Wagner Private Military Company (PMC).
Lieutenant General Salifou Mody, appointed Minister of State and National Defense by the Niger Military Administration, held a meeting this Saturday with the Chinese ambassador to the country, Jiang Feng. Also present at the meeting were the Secretary General of the Defense Ministry, Brigadier General Sani Issa Kache, and the Director of Foreign Relations, Major Colonel Hamadou Djibo Barte. According to the Nigerien agency, Jiang Feng congratulated Mody on his appointment and reaffirmed Beijing’s support for the African nation.
