Unconfirmed report says that the raging inferno has affected offices of three justices of the apex Court of Nigeria.
A section of the Supreme Court has been gutted by fire in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The cause of the inferno which occurred on Monday morning, September 25, 2023, is unknown as of the time of filing this report.
However, a source at the Federal Fire Service said firefighters were at the scene.
This comes days after the presidential candidates of Labour Party, Peter Obi, and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar filed 86 grounds of appeal at the Supreme Court to nullify the judgment.
The two politicians asked the apex court to set aside the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal ruling and nullify President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s election, describing the verdict as erroneous.
