The Arm Forces of the ECOWAS countries are fully in support of Sierra Leone, and fully ready and welling to provide any necessary supports whenever called upon,” General Christopher Musa – Chief of Defense Staff, The Federal Republic Of Nigeria, said. The chairman of the authority as His Excellency indicated, has asked us to underscore the readiness and the commitment of the ECOWAS to support the people of Sierra Leone to strengthening national security by all means, including deployment if need be it regional elements in Sierra Leone.
