even if they both don’t share borders, and there is still interdiction of flying to any member state of ECOWAS. So, in spite of all that, President Faure decided to invite Tiani. Why? Simply, because he will not sit down and let some fools in ECOWAS ruin a major source of revenue to his country and thousands of people’s livelihoods. go through Burkina Faso

The president of the transition of Niger, General Abdourahamane Tchiani, arrived Friday December 8, 2023 in Lomé to meet Togolese President Faure Gnassingbé.
This visit to the Togolese capital comes 48 hours earlier before the holding of a new session of ECOWAS heads of state and government in Abuja devoted to the country as well as Mali, Niger, Guinea, member states headed by “military” members of a coup d’état.
