Investing in Lagos is equivalent to dumping money into the Atlantic Ocean,Ipob group warns as politics deepens ethnic distrust

I got information that groups of Yoruba people in Lagos are leading campaigns urging our people to go back to investing in Lagos, assuring them that their properties won’t be destroyed again. And the worse is that some of our people are already buying into such talks that were geared towards destroying them as a race. At times I ask if we are cursed or could it be they are using jazz on our people. How can our people start considering going back to investing in Lagos after the senseless destruction of Igbo properties there? Our shops have been taken away. Markets built solely by Ndị Igbo were destroyed without compensation. We have watched sorrowful videos of Igbo duplexes being pulled down without allowing them to take their properties. All these Igbo people have suffered and some Yoruba groups have the guts to beg ndị Igbo to start investing in Lagos. Unfortunately, we are in a country where they hăte the Igbo, destroy their properties, say they will never rule Nigeria and yet don’t want Ndị Igbo to have Biafra. Our people must know that investing in Lagos is equivalent to dumping money into the Atlantic Ocean. It is a complete waste of resources. We must take our investments back to the East. You can build in Akwa Ibom, Asaba, Bayelsa, Imo, Abia, Cross River, Enugu etc. No one will destroy your property if you bring it home. By Ekere Ọrụ Eke via IPOB Central Liverpool
