If anyone tries it, Reno Omokri will fight them, as I fought Buhari for marginalising Igbos. Having said that, are you aware that Igbos removed themselves from Nigeria between 1967 and 1970? Nobody drove them. Our brothers and sisters left on their own accord. And fact-check me: That period was the period Nigeria abc Lagos in particular had their biggest GDP growth. In 1969, our GDP growth was 24.20%. In 1970, it grew to our highest ever at 25.01% $10,000 in Naira equivalent if you can fault me. This was because when our brothers and sisters left Nigeria, importation ground to a halt, and manufacturing increased. But when they returned, importation began again, and cheap imports destroyed the Lagos-Ogun manufacturing cluster. Importation makes traders rich, but destroys the local economy.
