1. Ngor-Okpala / Airport Road Axis 2. Obinze/ Umuokanne / Oforola Axis 3. Mgbirichi /Umuagwo/Umuakpu Axis Furtherance to the Imo Lands Administration and Geographic Information Service Law Number 3 of 2021 and the regulations pursuant thereof . We wish to state as follows – Furtherance to the Imo Lands Administration and Geographic Information Service Law Number 3 of 2021 and the regulations pursuant thereof . We wish to state as follows –
1. It has come to our attention that several organisations and companies are currently Partitioning /Consolidating and Selling of Plots of Land Located within Estates in the above stated Areas . We wish to inform Developers , investors in the Built Environment and the General Public that we have not issued any Private Layout Planning Approval to any organisation or registered any Estate Development Scheme in line with our Extant Laws in the following areas Ngor Okpalia /Airport Road Axis, Obinze/Army Barracks /Umuakanne/Oforola Axis .Mbirichi/ Umuakpu Axis .
2. There is a guideline for the issuance of Private Layout in the State , therefore any Estate Development Scheme that fails to comply with this requirement as dictated by Law is acting improperly and putting Investors and the General Public at risk.
3. Members of the Public are hereby advised to demand for copies of the approved private layout plan issued to the developer, furthermore they should visit iGIS customer _ service centre or call 0809816381 5/0806 1976802/09098311174 for clarification . Anyone who buys or transacts does so at their own risk .
4. We are committed to ensuring that due process is adhered to at all times and developers and businesses involved in Property Development operate with due regards to State Planning Laws , Applicable Neighbourhood or Unitary Development Plans . Planning Officers will be visiting these locati«ns to enforce comp iance .
