SEECA is sued at the Federal high Court 1, Enugu by EEDC.
They are asking the court to stop us from informing the consumers of electricity in the SouthEast of their rights and obligations. They claim that our informative activities in the SouthEast is causing them loses and wants the court to remedy that by awarding them 5billion naira costs.
They have deposed falls and contradictory affidavit to the court and the case is coming up on the 26th September, 2024 . This is coming up at the Federal High Court 1, Enugu.
We are calling all users of electricity in the SouthEast and particularly SEECA members in the southeast to appear in solidarity at the court on the said date, 26th September, 2024 by 9am prompt. I will transport anyone that has interest to go to court with us. There must be light in the southeast
