Nemesis is fast catching up on Fayemi. We reported last week of the arrest of Seun Egghead Odewale, the Director General of Procurement Bureau under Fayemi. Today, the erstwhile Fayemi’s Chief of Staff, Tolu Ibitola is in the net of EFCC. He attempted to flee the country but the anti graft agency closed him up. He has started singing like kennery birds. The humongous stealing of Ekiti patrimony by Fayemi and his gang of boys is mind boggling. The next to be apprehended is Akin Oyebode, the commissioner for finance of Ekiti State who presided over the pillage of our resources.

These guys who have no means of livelihood before coming into political offices now have properties in Banana Island Lagos. It is on record of the huge properties of Egghead in Wuye, Abuja apart from chains of hotels in Abeokuta and Idiroko in Ogun State.

The nouveau richie are not even pretending, they keep displaying their wealth ostentatiously before the poverty infested Ekiti people. Recently, Akin Oyebode distributed bags of rice to all 177 wards of Ekiti State and doling out #20k each to curry the favor of the poverty infested Ekiti people. One wonders if Akin Oyebode wants to contest for the Governorship ticket or Ekiti North Senatorial seat?

The game is up. Fayemi and his acolytes must return billions of Ekiti money stashed away by his boys and himself. These guys helped him made money and took care of themselves too. They are the conduit pipes through which Ekiti money was siphoned.
