Two weeks ago a French warship carrying 300 troops, 60 vehicles and two helicopters arrived in Ivory Coast. The French government said its to help fight piracy & terrorism. A week later Mali and Niger are both hit with the deadliest attack in years by an al-Qaeda linked group.
The terrorists struck a military training centre and Bamako’s military airport, but they were repelled. The Ivorian government is also reported to have agreed to the permanent presence of a French warship in the Gulf of Guinea. How do we move forward with Ivory Coast? Source Cecildb84on X
