He reaffirmed the commitment of traditional rulers to support UNICEF and other partners in finding solutions to the menace.

The Sultan made this statement on Thursday during the graduation ceremony of 1,897 Almajiri students and 1,087 out-of-school adolescent girls at the Sultan Maccido Institute of Quranic and General Studies in Sokoto.

The programme, organised by the Sokoto State Arabic and Islamic Education Board with support from UNICEF and Eleva Foundation, aimed to empower Almajiri students and out-of-school girls in the state.
