Chibuzor Mary Ndubuisi is a young woman from Abia State, Umuahia North LGA. In the year 2022, she gave birth to her first child (boy) through a caesarean section (CS), The medical team at FMC Umuahia @FMCUmuahia who conducted the operation strangely left a towel inside her stomach unknown to her.
This bizarre unprofessional misconduct from the medical team caused serious complications inside her body. When the pain and discomfort became unbearable again she had to go for a series of scans, with reports indicating that there was a mask-like substance inside her stomach.
A doctor from a different medical facility (Not FMC Umuahia) decided to operate on her to know what the mask-like substance was. Lo and behold it was a towel. This towel contributed to a tumor growth in her body, and the loss of her seven months old pregnancy in october 2024. Her intestine was affected to the extent it was removed.
She reported her ordeal to the management of FMC Umuahia but they paid deaf ears to her. One doctor even dared her to do her worse. They are threatening to deal with her if she challenges them.
She wants justice, she wants compensation. Due to their medical negligence, she lost her 7 months old unborn child, they removed her intestine, she is medically destroyed. @Fmohnigeria @MDCNOfficial
