THE CLERGY WHO SOLD HIS CHURCH TO JAPA!

Yesterday, I published about the Clergyman who sold his church and traveled abroad. Upon arriving in the foreign country, he discovered how difficult things turned out, so he entered the street. All he wanted was money and more money.
He doesn’t care how he gets it, he did every dark business to ensure money comes.
Our story shows that our friend, this former Pastor, destroyed the people he was sent to save.
A friend who read my post responded, “If we follow Christ for what we can get (rather than for the love of Him) if we don’t get that thing, backsliding will be natural for you.”
Friends, this is so true; you will need to not only backslide but also invest in ensuring that other people who believe in Him also backslide with you.
It’s a simple way to be recruited by the devil to work against God’s kingdom you once built and loved.
When we look towards the street today, you will see some people who have been there before.
Some of them will take the time to tell you about the many positions they held in the church.
How much they invested in Evangelism, and suddenly they’ve graduated by going back to their vomit.
They claimed they’d seen it all. Some of them are so gruntled and bitter that all they are committed to doing is ensuring those who believe do not continue. They even boast of how much they have made walking away from Jesus Christ as if the life of a man consists on whatever he own. Life is more than money and prosperity and position. You are created to demonstrate God’s glory.
Friends, God’s word captured such people long ago.
In 2 Tim 3, you will see how far people can go within this season. We are already in the last days, and the devil and his agents are working hard to drag so many souls along their destinations.
It is becoming increasingly difficult to continue with Christ without deep conviction from the Holy Spirit. Common sense is failing many.
Friends, let us be careful. We do not follow Jesus for what we want to get. You might not be faced with selling your Church like our friend, but you might be faced with selling your marriage, taking another woman, joining a cult, and joining a dark brotherhood. You might also receive grants from dark organizations people whoare not heard on your direction, salary raises, and enviable positions in life. Let us be careful. We do not still follow Jesus Christ for things. Our Christianity must be anchored on love and love alone, not on things.
That’s the fastest way to be disappointed and be recruited by the devil. May God help us to hinge our love to His love and not things. Things will fail but God’s love will stay.
Let us find our way back to Him.
This is your weekend.
