Security Crisis Looms? NSA, Governors, and Defence Boss Convene Urgent Meeting
The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) held a closed-door meeting on Wednesday night with National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu and Defence Minister Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, as tensions mount over escalating security challenges across the country.
The meeting, held at the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) Secretariat in Abuja, was presided over by the Forum Chairman and Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
In attendance were governors from Anambra, Akwa Ibom, Oyo, Kwara, Osun, Plateau, Lagos, Nasarawa, Ekiti, Ebonyi, Kogi, Ondo, Imo, Cross River, Ogun, and Edo States.
