Female Students Held Hostage by Fellow Students?

“Wetin this girl be seff?” asked one of them.
8:19pm last night, I got a distress call from a friend that my younger sister, Blessing Alims (the immediate past SUG President of University of Calabar) and other female students in the Hostel were held hostage in Hall 12 by a group of alleged Cültïsts demanding for huge sums of money from them.
This began late in the afternoon and dragged into the night and they wouldn’t let them leave the hostel.
I’m glad the Students had the courage to make a video. We can see faces of some of those involved.
I’m using this medium to draw the attention of the Management of the University to this ugly trend of alleged Cültïsts holding SUG Presidents hostage immediately after they hand over and demanding huge sums of money from them.
Let the Chief Security Officer of the institution and the Management bring these students in let them explain the motive behind this action of theirs, please.
This ugly trend has to be addressed and put to an end, please. Students holding their fellow students hostage and demanding for ransom is not something palatable to the ears in an academic environment like UNICAL.
PS. The guy on black T-shirt and a face cap in the video attached should be the first person to be picked up by the School’s security for explanations. He seems to be the ‘Boss’ here.
