Two days ago, I visited Adapalm. It was my first time being there and in Ohaji Egbema.
The driver who took me and Wizzy, my man, to the environment was kind enough to spare us some moments to explore the size and beauty of such a wonderful project.
Aside from assessing the beauty and size of the place, I was able to look at its critical infrastructure. I assessed from an independent standpoint the current value of the project and measured its feasible Future.
God bless whoever birthed the idea of having this project. Regrettable, I feel bad to say that the project is being underutilized. Its potential is not being fully harnessed. The structures housing critical infrastructure are dilapidated, and the vision behind establishing such a great project is in a near-death state.
The plantation was bushy. The palm trees were not properly pruned to enable the quality development of fruits. The only structure that looks well-maintained is the religious buildings there, which I presume were erected to satisfy the religious needs of the live-in staff of the establishment.
The police station there isn’t looking as healthy as I expected.
Not minding that a lot is currently being benefited by individuals and the government in the project, I bemoan the quantum of business and vast economic opportunities that are being wasted there. I pray that the Imo government will digitalize activities there, improve the quality of its critical infrastructure, and invest in that project, considering that the ROI will be huge and commendable.
