Hausas vows to stop take over of land by fulani in Jigawa

It has come to our attention that Miyetti Allah is attempting to seize hundreds of farmlands rightfully owned and inherited by Hausa families for generations in the communities of Kwarin Ruba and Rinɗe in Jahun Local Government Area, Jigawa State. They are making these outrageous claims under the guise that these lands are Fulani grazing reserves (labi).

We are calling on the Executive Chairman of Jahun LGA, Hon. Jamilu Muhammad Danmalam, to immediately step in and halt this dangerous move. If he has no hand in this shameful agenda, he must act swiftly to stop it before it escalates into serious conflict. The Hausas of today are not the Hausas of yesterday — land grabbing from indigenous Hausa families is not something we will tolerate in this era.

Let it be known: Miyetti Allah would never dare try this nonsense in Yorubaland, Igboland, Tivland, or Kanuri territories. They wouldn’t dare claim thousands of farms overnight and say they belong to Fulani herders. So why attempt this brazen land theft only in Hausaland where Fulani control both traditional and political power?

This is not just an insult to our intelligence; it is a dangerous provocation. Enough is enough. We will not sit idly by while ancestral Hausa lands are taken in broad daylight under false pretenses. The era of silence is over.

If Miyetti Allah insists on testing the patience of the Hausa people, they will meet resistance unlike anything they have seen before.
