Mazi Maazi Obinna Oparaku Akuwudike is once again being detained in the gulag of the Nigerian Police allegedly upon the instigation of Sanda Duru aka Prof. Mgbeke.
Few weeks back he suffered close to 2 months detention without charges or trial.
This constituted an egregious, violent breach of all his unfettered constitutional rights known to law.
Once again they’ve come for him allegedly upon the instigation of same Mgbeke.
Obinna is my friend.
Most of us failed to chip in words against his detention last time because the Obinna we all know is discerning enough to have known that there will blowback and negative consequences for hobnobbing with Natasha Akpoti who unapologetically accused the Senate President of sexual harassment.
However, what the Police and the instigator of his unending detention are doing now, is an overreach and highly inflammatory.
But Why’s a single person, a foreign based disaporian now appropriating our collective efforts and near defeat of Sen. Natasha Akpoti and her gang of G & H to herself and misusing perhaps her newly found alliance with the Senate President to browbeat the Police to do her unlawful bidding?
The fight to defend the institution and integrity of the Senate was not a one woman’s fight.
You people should release Obinna.
Leave him alone, before Chineke akpo unu oku.
