Fresh information reaching us today has revealed that the Okigwe security leader, Uchechi, who was reportedly attacked and killed by unknown gunmen two weeks ago at his residence in Ezinachi, Okigwe—an incident that claimed the lives of five people—was not killed in the attack as earlier believed. Reports indicate that he narrowly escaped the assassination attempt on that day.
According to a viral video released by Angel Make Up, Uchechi is said to still be moving around, allegedly strategizing on how to bring down their group. In the video, Angel Make Up warned youths from Okwe, Ezinachi, Umualumoke and Ogii to desist from attending meetings with Uchechi and operatives of the DSS, claiming such gatherings are targeted at setting traps for them.
This development comes barely 24 hours after the Nigerian military stormed a suspected camp of unknown gunmen in Okigwe on Sunday, August 31, 2025. Reports suggest that many fighters may have lost their lives during the operation.
Since then, Angel Make Up has continued releasing multiple videos online, alleging that people like Ikenga Ururagu, one Ebubedike, and others are collaborating with the Nigerian Army to weaken their men on the ground.
