Today, in company of my Campaign DG, Engr. Chime Nzeribe, his amiable wife Akuabia; and other members of my campaign organisation, we worshiped at the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of Our Lord (CATOL) Owerri.
I extended calvary greetings to His Lordship, the vicar, clergy and the laity of the Cathedral Church of our Lord (CATOL), Owerri on the memorable occasion of the gathering of God’s people to celebrate the Lord’s faithfulness and launch of 2023 harvest thanksgiving brochure which I supported handsomely.
The theme “Harvest of Goodnews” aptly captures the essence of the 2023 Harvest Thanksgiving for in truth the Lord has shown enduring mercy upon the Church in Imo State. So, this is a good time to appreciate our Lord Jesus Christ who in Mathew 16:18- promised that “…upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
Indeed, we are witnesses to the truth that the Lord has not allowed the storm to prevail over CATOL, the Anglican Communion and indeed the Christian Community in Imo State. His wondrous cross is truly our richest gain.
I rejoice with the Anglican church and indeed the Christian Community in our dear state. With your prayers, we shall take back Imo.
