This is the Egina FPSO. It was built by Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI). The FPSO was constructed in South Korea and arrived in Lagos in October 2017. Commissioned in 2018.It is located 150 kilometres off the coast of Nigeria at water depths of 1400-1700 meters. The cost of building the Egina FPSO was around $16 billion,(entire project including oil field development) with various contracts awarded to different companies. It is 330 meters long, 61 meters wide, 34 meters high and weighs 47,500 tons. The floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) has an oil storage capacity of 2.3 million barrels.The production capacity of the FPSO vessel is 208,000 barrels of oil daily. The partners in the field development include Total Upstream Nigeria (24%), CNOOC E&P Nigeria (45%), Sapetro (15%) and Petrobras Oil and Gas (16%).
