Several people have been reportedly killed in Borikyo, in the Ukum Local Government of Benue State following an attack on the community by unknown armed men.

It was also gathered that the residence of the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Paul Biam in Zaki Biam was also burnt down during the attack.

THIS IS A BAD SIGNAL TO THE ENTIRE SANKERA
The Ukum youths have taken out their grievances by burning down houses of the Chief of Staff to Gov. Alia, Hon. Paul Biam, the INEC office, Benue Links Vehicles and other government properties.
The youths are saying that since Benue State Government can not stop insecurity in Ukum there should be no government in Ukum.
We stakeholders should wake up immediately before the unrest will escalate beyond control .
