Pastor Adeboye..go and sin no more/Romeo

Some so-called men of God will never cease to amaze me. One of them lately said that but for (his?) prayers the naira could have been 5digits to the dollar. He even inferred that this government is not corrupt and he gave the current leader a distinction for stopping the importation of fuel; for getting all the refineries working; for cutting down on high cost of governance (especially by giving out SUVs worth #160m each to all federal MPs, renovating his deputy’s official residence with over #20b and the office of the unconstitutional FirstLady with a heart-rending amount); for making Nigeria very safe from ISWAP, BH, UGM, killerherdsmen and bandits and for carrying out a radical reorganization of our electoral system that is comparable to that of the USA in which a winner emerged within a few hours of voting without cries of rigging or voters being threatened not to come out to exercise their civic responsibility by American MC-Oluomos and oro traditional worshippers.
In fact his endorsement of the current leader for hypocritically removing subsidies even after same leader had organised a nationwide protest in 2012 against the removal of same subsidy, has made me begin to search through my Bible for that verse that says “not all who call the name of God shall see the Kingdom of God”.
Was this not same GO who gathered his pastors and faithfuls to protest against bad governance during the last regime, even when one of his senior pastors was the 2i/c of that regime, and with his anointed endorsement? What area of governance has become better now rather than worse between that regime and this one that the so-called man of God is overreaching himself to sell to Nigerians?
Anyways I am not all that shocked because it doesn’t matter where the tithes, offerings and donations are coming from as long as they keep coming in torrents, whether from our looted patrimony or from poor widows who are spiritually blackmailed into parting with their proverbial widow’s mite.
Let me sign off by joining some Nigerians in their calls for this GO to retire, repent, go home and sin no more.
