Come to think of it, the AES said last night in a statement that there are operations to reorganize and regroup terrorist groups in the Lake Chad Basin, in the Sahel and in certain border areas, namely: Niger-Nigeria, Niger-Benin, Niger-Burkina, Benin-Burkina.
They also added that these receive various forms of support from foreign states, including financial and logistical resources, aimed at destabilizing the confederation.
Now, I understand why the UK has established a military base in North Eastern Nigeria , that is, close to the southern border of Niger
There are already French secret military bases in Benin close to the border with Niger where they are training terrorists. @CapitaineIb226 and General Tiani @NIGER_CNSP confirmed that.
Needless to say that Uncle Sam is seeking to relocate his military base in one of our neighboring countries, either in Mauritania Benin or Côte d’Ivoire
So, the goal here is to surround the AES for more operations to destabilize the confederation. Our union is a threat to them. Many sleeping Africans don’t see it yet, but they know it for sure.
Niger claimed on national TV that there are French soldiers already stationed in Nigeria close to their border. I wonder how did that happen? Is Nigeria hiding something from its people ?
I never thought that Nigeria would have welcomed the imperialists on its soil, who by the way created terrorism in the first place and are still sponsoring it.
How can you solve this particular problem by counting on those who created it in the first place and who are still funding and maintaining it to justify their presence? Smh!
Finally, the three Heads of State notes with regret that within ECOWAS, destabilization maneuvers are regularly initiated by a handful of Heads of State who impose their wishes and foreign agendas on the rest of the organization.
