LEADERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE LED, JUST AS BRANCHES ARE CONNECTED TO OTHER BRANCHES TO SURVIVE./Apostle Godwin Robinson

Beloved, one thing I observed in my walk with God is that since I began, I have recorded more advancements whenever I walk with some close Christian friends than when I walk alone.

That’s when I began to understand why Jesus sent His disciples out two by two.
We all watched how they came back with testimonies as they were filled with Jesus.

Jesus then told them that the deeper benefit of the excise was how their names were written in the Book of Life.
He made them understand that God knew all about them as they were God’s representatives here on earth. But you mustn’t travel alone. You must never walk or work alone in this Kingdom.

While they all went out, people saw them as leaders and Pastors, but at the end of their assignment, they went back to their own Pastor and Leader (Jesus Christ).

“Then I will give you shepherds after my heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding.”…Jem 3:15

It has become common today for Christian leaders to feel that they’ve grown beyond being Pastors because of some of the results they record in their ministries. We have similar scenarios in so many aspects of our human endeavors. Where people carry the I have arrived mentality so they get staunted and stopped growing. Successful people are aware, success is not a place but a journey. You don’t arrive. Paul said, I do not count myself as a success but I keep on pushing to do greater things…Phil 3:13

This mistake is so deceptive and expensive that so many who would have been great leaders in the Church could not make it to greatness, so they fell on the way. Though they are wounded and in pain, they are still Pastors in Churches with their injuries and infections.

These leaders are not just growing weaker by the day; they are infecting other members of the body with their untreated wounds and spiritual diseases and infections.

While they appear bold and strong, they struggle in the secret place with their infections. Waiting for secret healing, which might not come, would eventually dull their conscience. Leading to either death or a weak conscience. With some ugly symptoms of self-defense and trivializing sin.

Dear Christian, it’s time we examine ourselves and run to the Cross of Calvary to secure the much-needed healing to save the body.
We must not permit any diseases and infections to escalate within the body.

I shall continue with this topic on how leaders must be led and how branches must connect to other branches to bear fruit. Christianity is not a stand-alone task. We must look out for other Christians if we are to thrive.
“I am the vine; ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing…John 15:5

May the Holy Spirit give you understanding again.
This is your weekend.
