🇧🇫Captain Ibrahim Traore has rejected Donald Trump’s personal Invitation to attend his inauguration, citing domestic commitments and the war on Terrorism in his Home Nation, which he is actively involved in.
The fact that South Africa’s president Cyril Ramaphosa was not invited but Traore was, given the US policy of non engagement with so called coup leaders, goes to show Trump’s respect for Traore.
I think the Captain was very right to reject the invitation.
