I was ‘kidnapped’ by a LAWMA Director- Jimmy Odukoya at Lekki Farms Avenue around 11.00am on Sunday 15th June, after 8.00am- 10am Mass at the Catholic Church of Divine Mercy, LekkiPhase1 Lagos. Immediately ‘arrested’, I was forced into the detention KAI’s Blackmaria lookalike Truck, He took me to KAI HQ at Oshodi and detained me until yesterday Monday 16th June 2025. He said I published in the Nations Newspaper of 14th May page 29, 2025; that he Jimmy Odukoya is a LAND GRABBER. He drove to Lekki Farms Avenue in a LAGRIDE rented Vehicle together with his Girlfriend
; and with a Kai Truck with 4 Kai personnel. I was lured to the Site of Arrest after leaving the Church; by a text message from a LAWMA Manager- Mrs Musa Omotola. Immediately Jimmy Odukoya Arrested me, he collected my Samsung Cellphone. I was transported to Oshodi KAI’s Headquarters where I was handed over to the KAI Commandant together with my phone with the instruction that the phone should not be handed back to me. About 30 minutes after, the Commandant called me outside and asked me to face the Wall of his Office thereafter my humiliating publicised Photograph was sent to Mr. Tokunbo Wahab- the Hon. Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources; for him to Publish in the Social Media, Newspapers Twitter. The allegation of vandalization of the Lagos State Government Infrastructure is not true. For instance, how can a 70-year old man single handedly vandalise Infrastructure without using tools and he wearing a Church attire? My humiliation was premeditated by Jimmy Odukoya and Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin of LAWMA who I have already sent a Petition against; to The AIGP ZONE 2, Onikan Lagos for threat to my Life and grabbing my LASG 2001(24 years) Allocated Road/Canal Setback in Lekki. The Petition is dated June 10th 2025. Both of them got information that the AIG has prepared a letter of Invitation to be delivered to them at LAWMA office on Monday 16th June, hence my ‘kidnap’ on Sunday 15th June. Their concocted story of Infrastructure Vandalizaion is funny and its now pending in the Magistrate Court Oshodi. Throughout the over 30 hours KAI detention office, my phone was confiscated hence I was kept incommunicado to my family and contacts in the phone. I was given my phone back around 5.30pm yesterday and I can assure you that the Court will do the needful as I have been granted Bail.
