“Soldiers set the police station on fire because one of their officers was killed. The voice said, “They burnt [the] station live. Ogijo Ikorodu. They went to kill soldier in front of the school at Odogunyan”
The army was said to be in mufti when the incident occurred. When the policemen realized he was an officer, they took to their heels.
The Lagos state police command has come out with a statement exonerating itself by saying Ogijo is in Ogun state.
