Dansuleiman explained that non-Nigerians must not be found with voter cards and standard Nigerian passports.

According to him, at least 18 foreigners have been repatriated adding that the exercise was meant to arrest any foreign national in possession of such illegal document.

“Foreigners must not be involved in the 2023 general elections. You are allowed to stay in Nigeria provided you have your documents but that does not make you a Nigerian.

“Migrants, cannot vote or be voted for. You must never register or collect voter card or vote and do not allow yourself to be used for violence.

“Politicians have so much money to use but do not allow yourself to be used to cause violence. The CGI has directed us to send you back to your country any time you are found with documents you are not allowed by law to posses. We will hand you to the authority over there.”

“Migrant e-registration is on going, come and register. We have machines that will capture your biometrics, it is in your interest.”

He urged them to turn up for the registration to avoid embarrassment.

“Very soon we will come out in full force. If you think you are hiding anywhere in Sepeteri, or anywhere we are everywhere, we will fish you out,” he added.
