Motor Park Manager killed by mob allegedly for destroying political billboards
Irate youths have reportedly killed one of the leaders of the Park Management System in Ibarapa Central Local Government Area of Oyo State, Jamiu Sego, and burnt his corpse in Igboora for allegedly destroying billboards of the All Progressives Congress in the area.
It was gathered that the incident happened on Saturday and a teenager died during the incident after being hit by a stray bullet.
It was further learnt that two other persons sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
The deceased park leader was reportedly among those arrested and arraigned alongside the PMS chairman in the state, Lamidi Mukaila, popularly called Auxiliary before a Chief Magistrate on Thursday for destroying billboards of the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
As of press time, the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Adewale Osifeso, was yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
