Outrage as Vehicle Inspection officer is seen mercilessly assaulting a motorist who had his complete vehicle documents in Owerri.
A video showing a yet-to-be identified Vehicle Inspection Officer(VIO) assaulting a motorist along Owerri road, Imo State, has surfaced online.
It is reported that the incident happened recently. In the clip, the VIO can be seen hitting the victim with a stick while ignoring pleas to stop.
The eyewitness reports that the victim had his complete vehicle documents and provided it upon request by the VIO. She noted that the driver was beaten to the extent that he could not take it anymore and had to retaliate.
