Some unrepentant Boko Haram/ISWAP Commanders have eliminated over 300 insurgents and their families who were coming out of Sambisa forest in view to frustrated the ongoing dialogue and Surrendering process in Borno state.
Brig Gen. Ishaq Abdullahi (rtd), Special Adviser to the Borno State government on Security Affairs, made this known in an interview in Maiduguri. According to him, more than 90, 000 Boko Haram fighters and their families have so far surrendered to lt in the last 17 months.
He noted 95 percent of Boko Haram Commanders diehard have been killed either through military operations or in fighting between the warring factions./Zagazola
