2023: Police Declare Popular Lagos Ogboni leader Wanted

The Nigerian police have declared an Ogboni leader, Tajudeen Olanrewaju Bakare wanted.

This was contained in a statement released on Thursday, February 2, 2023, by the Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin.

According to him, the Ogboni leader is linked Bakare to the deadly clash in Surulere.

Recall that supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) clashed during the visit of PDP governorship candidate Abdulazeez Adeniran a.k.a. Jandor.

There was open use of firearms and other weapons during the fight that left at least two persons dead last Friday.
Recently the Nigeria army arrested 166 miscreants from various parts of lagos at midnight.
