THE SERVERS ARE GOOD,ITS INEC THAT NEEDS TO BE RECONFIGURED
I really dont know why there is is much shouting over the INEC decision to suspect Saturday election.
Since when did it begin to be a habit of INEC to take the permission of the court on such matters.
INEC has by compromise or ignorance or carelessness messed up the elections and is looking for a fall guy.They pushed their decision to clean up the mess to the Judiciary that has now ducked leaving INEC to take the decision to suspend the election by itself.
Lets start with the election.
INEC was asked several times..it said it was battle ready for the election. It nodded.INEC went as far as castigating the role of Professors as Resident Electoral Commissioners (REC).No one complained.
As soon as results started trickling in ..BVAS started “malfunctioning” and the use of manual results collation began . INEC Chairman defended it and released the much doubted Ekiti state results. Alarm came when the position of INEC cleared the path for forced signatures and people signing under gunpoint leading to even more suspicious results in Rivers State ,Sokoto.Akwa Ibom.
INEC went ahead and declared Bola Ahmed Tinubu the winner , and even issued a certificate under the cover of darkness (4am)
The youths will have none of this.They started digging up notes on pro bono basis. Startling revelations came up.Jigawa votes were found in Imo.Sokoto votes were found in Rivers.Surulere votes were found elsewhere.
Before long the server announced an alternate result declaring Peter Obi as winner. INEC has refused to address this till now.
An embarrassed Buhari and international community started to regret early congratulations.
INEC start looking for excuses.These included barring staff who contributed to the mistake from the next election and even unsitting a whole REC. INEC had admitted failure but would not have anyone punished for this heinous offence of manipulating the peoples will.
INEC cannot defend its announced result,neither can it deny the server results.
If it goes ahead and holds elections on March 11 and the results reflect the results from the servers, that clearly shows it has announced Bola Tinubu as president elect either in grave error or it was compromised, head to toe.
If it announces Peter Obi as winner,a court journey begins and possible riots in the South west.
What is looking at us clearly is the way to cancel the entire results and repoll or stall till its safe to announce an Interim national government.
In all the calculations, INEC and powerful anti democratic forces underrated the will of the youths. These youths want fair representation that will lead to good governance. To them its not only about Obi or Tinubu.They are technologically sound ,way above INEC and the antidemocratic forces who want Interim government or return to military rule.
In my opinion its not the server that needs to be reconfigured. Its the strategy of anti democratic forces and INEC in its determination to see that democracy is halted.
To worsen it,the youths have refused to think along the line that crashing of democracy will pave way for the continuation of “Hausa/Fulani domination” The suspicion is there that another #endsars will have northern youths on the streets. A risk Buhari cannot afford.
On the 18th March ,the results will reflect the pattern of the results on the server.
The only pathway left is for the Anti democratic forces to create so much confusion ,preventing a detailed revisit of the Feb 25 election to justify ING.
The strong force against INEC and the Anti democratic forces are not the presidential candidates. Its the youths,INEC has no where to run.
