DSS SHOULD STOP THREATENING ME AND OTHER JOURNALISTS!/Jackson Ude

DSS SHOULD STOP THREATENING ME AND OTHER JOURNALISTS! The DSS Statement over my exposure of the rots in that agency, supervised by the DG, Yusuf Bichi, is a direct threat to my life and that of the Newsmen at the Saharareporters and People’s Gazette who also exposed same. We have not committed any crime and deserve no threats from any organ of Government. I have been on the DSS Watchlist for almost 20yrs now. What more. To kill me or arrest me? We are no longer in the Military era. The activities of the DSS should be open to scrutiny. The tone of that statement reminds one of the military era. Peter Afunnaya should do better with his choice of words and stop the threat. At this point, no one is afraid of death. We are literally in our graves already. As a former Aide to Ayim Pius Ayim during his era as Senate President, Afunnaya should understand we are in a democracy and the Media is a watchdog. This is not the first time Afunnaya would be threatening me. He did that over the phone is 2020 and it should stop already. The DSS should do more in curbing insecurity and the internal threats to Nigeria and leave Journalists alone. The courts are available if the DSS feel defamed! Instead of threatening Journalists, the DSS should tell us why the DG sold a DSS property at Directors Quarters at Niafounke Street, House No. 20, Off Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja to his wife Mrs. Aisha Yusuf Magaji Bichi. I won’t fall for any threat!
