– on Wednesday 27th, 2023, on national television at 8pm GMT, the government confirmed an attempted coup against

@CapitaineIb226. The Transitional Government informed us that a coup attempt was foiled on September 26, 2023 by the Burkinabè intelligence and security services. At the moment, some military officers and other accomplices suspected of being involved in this attempt of destabilization have been arrested and others actively wanted. The government also states that, while they are waiting for the Military Prosecutor to provide more details on this plot. they deeply regrets that some Burkinabè, moreover some military officers whose oath is to defend the Homeland, have erred in an plot of such a nature which definitely seeks to hinder our march for our sovereignty and our total liberation from the terrorist groups. The Government salutes the patriotic action and the high sense of duty of the Defense and Security Forces who made it possible for us to stop this disaster. They also pay a vibrant tribute to all our people and particularly to our youth for their resolute and historic commitment to defending the Homeland and protecting it against all those who want to take us backwards into history. Folks, this is it. This is the second coup attempt in a month, and the fifth that I recall in a less than a year against Ibrahim. Our enemies won’t give up easily! We know they are ruthless and bloodthirsty criminals. But they should be aware that the youth are saying that they will not spare anyone who is trying to kill Ibrahim. In another post, I’ll show you how the crowd caught a soldier who is suspected of being one of the plotters. I didn’t want to post it, but now that we know that many suspects are on the run, I’ll post it.
