– you see this guy right here, his name is Stéphane Julien, a French businessman who resides in Niger. It was him who had in possession Burkina Faso’s military uniforms in a van he was trying to smuggle into the French embassy in Niger. I reported this incident before. He was arrested on September 8th, 2023, then released on September 14th. Many incidents like this happen in our countries, and we take matters lightly. In Central African Republic, many French mercenaries were caught, but then released. What hurts me so much is the fact that, these individuals do all they can to destabilize our countries, and when we catch them red handed, we release them immediately and easily, once their countries start putting pressure or threatening us. Why ? Is it because we’re weak ? Or it is because we’re victims of our own humanism? Or both ? Things like these shouldn’t be tolerated!
