Bandits insist on negotiating only with Zamfara govt not parents of abducted students

As 38 students of the Federal University Gusau clocked 74 days in bandit captivity, their parents staged a protest at the Zamfara State Government House yesterday. The parents told BBC Hausa that they sought to negotiate with the abductors, but the terrorists refused, insisting that they will only talk to the Government. And there has never been communication from government to update the parents. These are students, mostly young ladies, abducted from their school dormitories over two months ago, but those in charge are carrying on as though nothing happened.
