So for 8months, even as C-in-C, it is just dawning on him that his military has been busy playing ducks-and-drakes with bandits and terrorists? How can the war against insecurity be won when key players in government are well-known terrorism enablers; or when the party which imported bandits from neighbouring countries to help it manipulate elections is still in power; or when the leader of the government is busy battling debilitating ill-health and spending in foreign hospitals a chunk of valuable time he would have used to visit beleaguered parts of the country to see things for himself and leading the war from the front; or when funds that should rather be channelled into the war against insecurity are used for frivolous and dubious palliative schemes that have proven to be conduit pipes used in frittering away our common patrimony?
By the way how can the war against insecurity be won when a well-known godfather of thugs, touts and areaboys (terrorists by every standard) is the numero-uno citizen of the country?
Finally, the million-naira question: DO NIGERIANS EXPECT A MAN WHO SAID HE DIDN’T BELIEVE IN ONE-NIGERIA TO WORK FOR THE UNITY, PROGRESS, PEACE AND SECURITY OF SAME COUNTRY???
