Nigeria – 25th democracy Day Celebration? At the so called 25th “Democracy day celebration”, President
stumbled and fell. What democracy are they celebrating? Is this not the same man whom millions of Nigerians have contested and keep rejecting him because they claimed they never voted for him? Therefore, they believe their votes have been rigged. We can’t blame them, because we all know his background. After all, this is what I call being caught up by your past. Well, under the disguise of “democracy”, yes, elections can be rigged and votes stolen. It’s nothing new because, we’ve seen that in francophone countries for decades. As long as the puppet leaders do what France wants, they can remain in power and even die in power.
But on a serious note, why is Nigeria celebrating fake democracy? The naira has depreciated so badly, inflation, the consumer price index are at an all time high, people are suffering and struggling to make ends meet, Boko haram is still wrecking havoc, kidnapping and all kinds of crimes, and all the Nigerian government finds to do is to celebrate the 25th democracy day?
Unbelievable! Again, Africans should never fall for this nonsense, because by democracy they only mean elections and votes, nothing else. It’s never about having strong institutions that will protect your sovereignty and the resources of the country. It’s about giving influence and access for westerners to continue their looting of African resources. If Nigeria = was a true democracy, it would have championed the Industrial Revolution that Africa wants, and rise to be the giant it should be. But go do some digging and you’ll realize that most of their resources are owned by the same West that is preaching and chanting democracy in Africa, while creating chaos in the Congo, on the African continent and throughout the world Anyway , this incident alone reaffirms my position that old politicians like President Tinubu should retire and go spend time with their grandchildren. We should put people in charge who are capable, in good health and not invalids or weaklings.
