Court again adjourns Labour Party and Peter Obi’s petition against Tinubu

The Presidential Election Petition Court has again adjourned the petition against the president-elect, Bola Tinubu, by the Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi till Wednesday, May 17, 2023.

The court took the decision on the request for adjournment by parties to the petition at a sitting on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.

Recall the court at the commencement of the presidential election tribunal on Monday adjourned the case till today.

The tribunal also postponed the hearing of the petitions filed by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, and the Allied Peoples Movement.

The Independent National Electoral Commission had declared Bola Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress as the winner of the February 25 presidential election.
