Many Sierra Leoneans are now concerned about the safety of Sierra Leone ‘s former president Ernest Bai Koroma. On November 26, 2023 One of his active security officers was killed on duty and one captured at work by the forces of the current president Bio. The motive for the killing and arrest is yet unknown. President Koroma has publicly announced that 2 of his guards are missing in action. Action required ASAP to provide reliable security guards for the former president. ECOWAS , AU, and the international community should plan to protect the lives of former president Koroma and his family. The current situation in the country is shaky. Prevention is better than cure.
